ask the vet on our first vet visit?? The vet I am going to used to breed and raise hedgies, but I am wondering what I should ask her. There is nothing wrong with Zephyr, it's just a wellness check. Thanks. :)

Let's see, here are some of the questions I asked my vet:
How many other hedgie patients do you have?
Why have you seen them? (i.e. wellness exams, sick, etc.)
What is usually wrong with them ( at my clinic it was mites)
Who do you recommend for an emergency or after hours vet? ( I've gotten to know my vet very well, and I have her home number to call if the need arises)
Is your staff familiar with hedgies?

Because I have a good relationship with my vet, I'm allowed to go wherever my animals go (i.e. surgery suite, x-ray room, etc)
