I just got my first hedgie!!

I just got my first hedgie!! :D It's a male albino and he is about 6 weeks old . . . I think. I can't exactly remember. He is soo cute!! He was really scared at first, always in a ball. And when I pick him up, he hisses and puffs. He's getting better tho. I gave him his first bath, and he finally let me rub his belly. And his nails, oh my gosh!! They are long! He's a little cutie pie. When I get some pics, I'll post them, but I haven't any yet.

Congrats! Herby is a great name. A name of honor in my family :laugh: First there was herby the wonder crab. My bigger hermit crab ripped off all but 1 of herbie's claws. Somehow, he lived and grew back new legs next time he shed. Then there was Herbie, the wonder chick. A few years back I hatched chickens and raised them. Herbie was the first successful cesarian section of a baby chick :laugh: Actually what happened was we thought he was dead and my mom, a doctor, wanted to take him out of the shell and see if she could figure out what went wrong. After cracking the shell a bit, he started chirping and she pulled the rest of the shell off and he lived. After that, mom delivered 2 more by C-section. :laugh: So Herby has always been an honorable name in my eyes.
