Dark hedgehog

Look at this hedgehog I found at pet of the day

I've never seen a hedgehog who has such dark color on the quills where the white would be. I realize this guy is probably an algerian and algerians tend to have cream instead of white. But, man, that's some dark cream.

Puck was a very gorgeous hedgehog! My guess would be maybe algerian dark grey. Hedgehogs band width varies, I have some hedgehogs here who have almost no white on their quills other than a very small white tip. They are very gorgeous, and extremely rich colored. One of the ones that i have like this is Onyx, she is a grey with her bands starting against her skin and going almost to the tips of the quills. Makes her few pure white quills REALLY stand out.
