I just got my second chin to accompany my first one as buddies. I will proceed with the quarantine for a month them put them siude by side each other. I was wondering at first i was planning to get only two so they can be cage budddie, both of them are male one is 1year and 4 month and the other is 4 months. I came across another standard grey chin and i think i fell in love with it's cuteness and now deciding if i should get another so that would be three. Can all threy be amigos or will there be odd number and two against one bullying. I love my first chin alot and i 'll feel really bad if he get bully by two newcomer. Did anybody came across this situation can someone give me some advice? My parents are not too fond of chinchillas but for myself i'm in love with them.

There are plenty of owners who have three chinchillas together, I'm just not sure how that went about doing it. Of course, there is always the chance that you will find one who isn't friendly with other chinchillas. Maybe someone more experienced can tell you how to do it, but you can get three chinchillas to live together. :)

I have 3 chins in one cage. I put them through the quarentine period thing then let them play togetherthen they would be in the same cage for slightly longer periods of time untill they lived together. it took anout 1.5 mons for each additional chin. I got lucky, they all get along. You should see them cuddle together...:) cuteness...
