The new girl

I've gotten some picture of my new little girl (that I'm guessing is about 6 weeks, thank you for the input!)

When I first saw her at a pet store she was in a TINY cage(think hamster's first home type), and was climbing the walls (literally) and when I picked her up, my first thought was a name for her.

The local breeder and I worked on educating the store, to get her a bigger cage and a wheel, and I spent time trying to decide if I wanted to adopt her or not. Given that I had a name chosen for her, I did.

Well Miss Marple came home on the 26th. By that point the Pet Store had provided her a larger cage and a wheel (a smallish wheel though).

Very cute hedgie. I don't know much about hedgies...but I know enough to know that a hamster cage is redicuosly small for one. Congrats on getting her and great job on educating the petstore! :applause: I am glad it all worked out for you. :)

She seems to be settling well ^_^ Quilling, so she's a bit grumpy though, but loves her wheel [which she didn't have at the petstore]

Nowi fI could just get warning when they turn the heat off so I can set up the heater BEFORE it gets to 60 in the room...
