Hoglet Quill Question

Hello All,

I have noticed that a lot of new born babies have tiny white quills. Is this common among all hedgehog newborns or only albinos? Do the quills change color over time? :confused:

i had babies and wondered the same thing as well... about 5 days to 1 week there will be a color change... i was so surprised and happy when i seen the color change... i hope that helps you...

I've also heard from breeders that they can't garuntee the colors because they don't get their adult colors until they are 6months....at least I'm pretty sure that's what I read.
