Ok ...
I bought some canary grit from the bulk barn....it looks like a fine sand in texture but is kinda grayish white in color and i put it in a dish and added one pig and watched....she loved it (of course i think this is the kind of activity that ought to be supervised...) anyway she was rolling and flipping in the grit like it was nobody's busniess...she loved it she played in it forever...which is totally not like her. Then i tried it out on my boy hedgie and he was the same ...flipping rolling and digging...it was absolutly adorable! I have never seen them so excited...
The grit was super cheap and the piggies loved it i think this could be a fun supervised playtime exercise
anyone ever done anyting like this? i have done this with lizzard sand and lizzard dirt and while the boy has played in it i have never had my girl do it to until now!
