Just wondering what everybody carries there hedgie around in :) .
If you have one, which one is the best to use for walking around the house to going outside?

I use a hedgebag with strap once I'm at my location. Otherwise, I use a plastic small animal carrier so I can equip it with a fleece blanket and hand warmer so they are nice and cozy. I feel much better about the carrier because I know they are secure

When traveling long distances I have carriers that I give them fleece blankets to curl up under, but if I'm making a trip to the pet store and want to take them with I use a large purse that has a huge opening at the top and is big enough to carry at least two of my girls around in...I know it's hard to picture but it works great when I line it with fleece.

What's a "deluxe Hedgie hauler"?

I don't know what a "hedgie hauler" is, but I use cat crates or modified rubbermaids.

What's a "deluxe Hedgie hauler"?

The Deluxe Hedgie Hauler is the front carry bag that I make and sell for hedgehogs.

I use Deluxe Haulers, Standard Haulers, Over the shoulder Haulers and small animal carriers depending on how many I am transporting and what we are doing.

For around the house any of the Haulers work well as I usually only have one hedgehog at a time. They are great for bonding.

For trips out to stores and visiting I usually use all of the Haulers. I wear either the Standard or deluxe hauler on my front and usually have a shoulder bag over each shoulder. My daughter does the same.

For trips to the vet with only one or two I have a small animal carrier that the top slides back. I put a liner in the bottom then hedgie with a few blankies overtop. This carrier works really well with a sick hedgie or one that has had surgery as you can open the top right up and tend to hedgie without having to move her. :)

I typically use the standard hedgie hauler since I've gotten it, but I do have one of those small animal carriers that I used to take Nigel to the vet, and will probably continue to use for vet trips.

I'm thinking of perhaps an over the shoulder one as well - then I have one for each hedgehog plus the carrier ^_^

I use Nancy's Standard Hauler when I am just taking one girl or I am looking to bond with one of the gals. I take the deluxe when I have 2 of them. And when I have all three I put them in the deluxe, or if it is long distance, I have a sterilite bin that is smaller then their home set up, that I buckle into the back seat. What is great about it is that Nozomi is always trying to break out of the hauler as soon as she feels the car moving. I love it, she will climb to the top and poke her little head out and enjoy the ride. :)
