Charolette is gone

My son had a dwarf hamster named Charlette. We did not have her for very long, a few weeks. But my hubby got up yest. morning and she was dead. She was in a cage with two other dwarfs and lets jsut say it was not a pretty sight when we found her body.
Poor Charlette :(
Skyler is so upset that his little hamster is gone. I hope to get him a new one soon to take her place, but until then he has claimed my mosaic chin Kiwi.

I have had 2 dwarf hamsters from the same Petstore (PetsMart) and they both died within the year of purchase. I hate to say it, but they can be like goldfish when it comes to breeding and selling to pet stores for profit. I am so sorry for your loss though, I know growing up I went through 8 gerbils. It doesn't make it any easier.
