Khalua is gone...just like that...

Yesterday when I got home I noticed Khalua was not herself. She was sleeping int he middle of the cage. I woke her and she was having trouble walking. I took her out. Her back was completely hunched up. Somehow she managed to break her back. Probably in a fall in an attempt to get out. :cry: She was such a great friend and hamster. Never had one quite like her. So affectionate and smart. I hope she enjoys being free all the time in Hamster Heaven. I'm sure going to miss her. She was so healthy and so much more time to live. Freak accidents hit you out of no where :nolove: ...

I'm so sorry to hear about your sudden loss. I've got over 30 hammies, including several escape artists, up there in Hamster Heaven where falling never hurts.
