Poor Harold

Poor Harold has moved on to the Rainbow bridge this morning while I was at the vet with the three rescues that I picked up last night. I only had Harold for two weeks and he was pretty old. The lady I rescued him from didn't know his age but guessed at least two. He was the friendliest hedgehog and he will be missed.

The more I think about it the more I realized that with his previous owner he didn't have any room to really run around in, and he was a bit on the heavy size. I'm sure that he could have had a heart problem from before....I feel kind of like I let him down but he was wheeling and playing with his ball like nothing was wrong with the world the night before he died. At least he was happy when I had him.

Harold was so lucky to have you make his life a bunch of fun!! Hedgies love their toys and Harold gratefully appreciated all you gave and did for him in the little time you had him. I am sorry I didnt post sooner. I didn't see the new thread :(
