So I bought a chin from a breeder (who is very well known and very good) right before nationals and a friend of mine brought him home to me after nationals. At the national show my friend had to leave early to get back so she didn't have time for this breeder to write down my chins pedigree but the breeder informed my friend that if I e-mailed them they would send it to me. Well as you all know it's been a little bit since the nationals, and I still do not have a pedigree for my little boy. I have sent numerous PM's to this breeder and 2 e-mails. I am not sure what to do. At first I just thought maybe the breeder is busy and hasn't had time to get the pedigree for me yet. But I still haven't gotten the pedigree info or even a reply saying they'll get to it as soon as they can. This upsets me quite a bit b/c this breeder is well known and everyone I talked to about this breeder before I purchased the chin said the breeder was awesome. But I purchased a chin with a pedigree so it would be nice to get the pedigree. Has anyone ever had this happen before and if so what did you do to get the pedigree? I don't want to seem like I am nagging this breeder, I just want my pedigree that's all.

I had this very thing happen to me. I paid for 2 chins (pedigreed) and when the chins arrived at the national show with the railroaders, there were no pedigrees and they told me that the original breeder said they'd take care of it afterwards. I PMed the breeder before I even left the show and told them my address so they could send the pedigrees or even offered to have them just PM me the information so that I could write it down. This breeder didn't respond. I waited for about 2 more weeks, PMed again. Nothing. I figured maybe they were busy, but come on...so I decided to call instead of PMing. Both times I called, I left messages, no return call was ever made. I don't know why some people don't want to follow thru with making the pedigrees for those of us that pay up front. I thought that maybe they had forgotten, been really busy, or something, but even I (and I'm one very busy person) can make time to fill out 2 pedigrees and put them in the mail. It's not that hard. This breeder did finally send them...and I finally got them...only a month later! There's just no sense in that.
Keep on them...don't back down.

Well I'm not giving up. I have try to PM this person over and over and I refuse to stop until they at least message me back. I thought you know maybe they are busy, maybe they don't have time, but I see this same breeder post threads on here selling more chins and I just think to myself well if you have time to post then you should have time to message me back. Even if they were to just say "we'll get it to you soon" that would be fine. I just want this breeder to acknowledge the fact that I am sending them PM's. Before I purchased my chin they would reply to me rather quickly with info on him. So they were very good at contacting me back through PM's but now they aren't so good. My chin still has a while before he can be breed, but that's not the point, the point is I purchased a chin with a pedigree and I just want the pedigree. I have offered for them to send it to me through e-mail or just PM it to me. But I haven't gotten anything. I'll keep trying though maybe if I bug them enough they'll give in!

Do you have the breeder's phone number (or can you get it)? If so, call them. A lot of people will be more responsive to phone calls than they are to e-mails & PMs.
Spamming them with PM's ("over and over") will probably just make them angry. I realize that you are also angry, but you don't want to escalate the situation any further. By calling them, you can make it clear to them how serious you are without spamming them.
