I just found out that they were making a movie of the famous C.S. Lewis novel from the Chronicles of Narnia series. I'm so excited, I can't wait for it to come out. I loved that book when I read it in grade school. I think they are actually planning to make all seven books into movies.... :applause: Anyone else excited??

Will this be an animated movie... or actual people? I might check it out.. I absolutely LOVED all of C.S. Lewis' books in that series. I thought I read something quite awhile back that they were making this movie.. but then I never heard anything again.

I loved these books! They already have an animated movie out, and a really old real movie. I can't wait for the new one to come out though!

Oh, I can hardly wait! I loved the Chronicles of Narnia, with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe being my absolute favorite. I recall a rather poorly-made cartoon from the 1970's and possibly another cartoon from before that... and there was UK movie a few years back as well.

This is certainly something to look forward to. According to IMDB we can expect this during the holidays. YAY!

i saw the trailer the other night when we went to see star wars 3. it looks AWESOME. Did anyone see the old brit movies of all the cronicles? this is bound to be wAY better

I found out it was coming out back in december. I can't wait!!! Jim Broadbent (Bridget Jones, Moulin Rouge) is playing the Professor (Digory Kirk for which my hh is named).

It'll be WAY better than the old brit version. The animated version was cute (I own it!!!) and I actually watched a few weeks ago!
