When their quills are falling out and new ones are growing in. This happens several times until adulthood.

Oh my Gosh!! she is absolutely adorable Katie, those are such great pictures:) I think I need to get some new ones of all my lil' ones :D Especially the new lil' guy (Kaze) he is getting so big :)
