There is some evidence to suggest that both the mites and the Ivermectin can lead to quill loss. I wouldn't worry too much unless she really gets a big bald spot or starts to rub her skin raw scratching at it.
How old is she?? If she's just dropping a few quills at random and you can see quills poking out in various stages of growth she's probably just quilling.

I just recently treated my 2 for mites also. They were put on Ivermectin too. I noticed a major quill loss on Herbie. Even some of his hairs are falling out. He has no bald spots or anything noticable. I just find quills on his blankie and on the floor ouch!! They are all done with their treatments now and the quill loss seems to be better and less frequent. Kahlua hasn't lost any quills with the treatment, so it must be just a side affect to some and not all hedgies.
Also Herbie is a little over 1 year old, so I knew it wasn't quilling. I can see new quills comming in though where the other ones fell out. Plus his quills are so thick and full that you can't tell he's missing any.

Our vet said that the mite "infected" quills would fall out as the mites died. New quills were all over while she was losing the bad ones though.

I'm assuming she was treated for mites with Ivermectin? Keep an eye on it and contact your vet if the injection site becomes red or irritated. I've had very good success with Revolution when I had to treat a hog for mites. Just an FYI to maybe talk to your vet about

I suggested treatment with Revolution when I went to the vet. He said that Revolution and Ivermectin were very close related. He didn't feel comfortable using my hedgies as "guinea pigs" to try revolution on, but said he would look into it for future use.
