I finally saw her annoint(sp?)

I gave my ferret a bath earlier and my shirt smelled like the ferret and shampoo and while i was holding Nestle (my hedgie) she started licking my shirt and hand and then annointed with it! It was soo funny and cute. :laugh:

It is a little startling at first, but then...it's hilarious looking!! I always get a good laugh when I get to see Razzle annoint. I don't get to see it that often, but I'd love to get that on video!

I think your little girl is too much of a lady to annoint. She wouldn't want to get anything dirty all over her clean, tidy quills!!! :)

Probably...but I even tried to get her to annoint with my nice clean hair. I think she considered it...she licked my hair a couple times but that was it. I just think she's too lazy and can't be bothered. :laugh:

Annointing is when a hedgie discovers some interesting new smell. They start to foam at the mouth and then rub it all over their back. At first, it looks like the animal is having a seizure and alarms new owners...but once you're used to it, it's quite amusing.

I have a pic of Bianca annointing...for those of you that have never seen it. I need to get a few of my little Mia doing it, she gets herself soo flat and gets the foam all over :lol:
