Oh, Billy!! Guess what I have for you...

I finally got a picture of Hemi sucking on her toes for you - I remember you saying how you'd like to see a picture of it. Well, here you go. :p

LOL. No problem...her feet were quite dirty before she started. LOL. I guess this is her way of avoiding a nightly bath.

Razzle - Thank you...she knows. :p

LOL...oh, she still has foot baths. I'm slightly fanatical about them. Although, I tend to try to wait until after 9:30pm when she usually gives herself one. If she doesn't bathe herself, into the bath she goes.

And now, I have to try to keep her two front feet sterile. She somehow got a cut on one foot (I came home from Canada Day celebrations and found some dried blood on two of her toes). Apparently, she was scratching a lot, so I think she scratched her little foot on one of her quills. I'll give her an oatmeal bath today to try to alleviate the itching, but if, by Monday, it's not stopped (or at least lessened) she's off to the vet for another mite check.

Is it possible that she's quilling? That is usually accompanied by lots of scratching/discomfort. Also, how's her skin looking? If it's not dry and flakey I'd tend to think that she's quilling and it's not mites.
