I'm wanting to make dinner crepes *not sweet* and as much as I look on the net, I'm not really finding anything that strikes me. Any ideas?

Hmmm... I know that my baby bro used to make crepes w/ a filling of chicken and broccoli topped w/ some sort of light, creamy sauce... He can't find the recipe, though :(

I'd visit www.foodnetwork.com and check out recipes by Tyler Florence (Food 911 and How to Boil Water) or Alton Brown (Good Eats). AB especially rocks -- his recipes are VERY concise and easy to follow.

Otherwise, check out www.allrecipes.com if you haven't done so already. They often have good recipes with reviews from folks like you and me. At the very least you'll get a chuckle over that!

Let us know how you make out, ok?

There is this place I know where they make lotsssss of yummy crepes. They make one with spinach, tomato, and cheese. Mushrooms are a good idea too.

Do you know how to make the crepes themselves ? You can buy really good ones that just come in packages, or what my grandma does it just use pancake batter, but spread it around the pan so it`s thin ( but big enough to hold the filling !! ). Make one at a time - they cook pretty fast.

X_maddy are you talking about boba joes? Well I know the "CREPE batter" is just milk, flour, eggs, and salt.

 That sounds PERFECT and he can't find it???? Boo! Ok, I'll keep looking.... Thanks for the tips. I'll update this with anything interesting. I guess I got spoiled on my Honeymoon at Sandals in St. Lucia. They had this creperie called Josephine's that was open 24/7!:slurp:

No .. we have a farmers market downtown every thursday and they set up a stand there. The crepes are sooo good, but the line is never-ending and they`re expensive. L0L

Chewy, my mom has an awesome savory crepe recipe. She uses it to make curried shrimp crepes. I will see if I can get it from her. When do you need it by?
