Oh, Calli how we loved you...from the second I saw you and looked into your eyes, I knew that you had been waiting for me to take you out of the **** you had been living in. You were much too young to suffer as you did. Today, I think Meg (my family's dog who also passed today) called you to come with her. I will forever think of the two of you playing together with your wings on. Calli, Daddy is sending his beard, you know, that hairy thing that you so loved to chew on, with you over the rainbow bridge. He wants you to be able to chew on it and annoint with it any time you want. Grandma and Grandpa are giving you a special spot in the garden to share with Meg. Zeek says he'll miss you and that "I'll make sure your mealies get eaten one way or another." Though your time with us was very brief, I hope that you spent the best days of your life with us. Remember, Mommy loves you!

Cali was well loved and I'm sure she knows it. Over the rainbow bridge with it's funny beards and I'm sure endless mealworms she will continue to love you. Your time together may seem short, much to short. I was looking through your ablums and found the pictures of Cali with the tube on her head and I can see what a wonderful spirit she had.
