Stewie, my much loved little huffy hog, has discovered how to escape during play time. He's not shy about it either; he'll do it right in front of me as I'm watching. The first time I'd left him alone long enough to use the ladies room and I came back to no hoggie. Then, the second time (all in the same night) I was in the adjoining room folding laundry watching him through the doorway and he still escaped! After that, I decided to document his 3rd and final escape for that evening (I grounded him to his cage for the rest of the night :p )

Here's two more pics of Stewie. Since he can't be trusted to have play time while I clean his cage, I put him in his Krawler for those few minutes. As you can see he doesn't go anywhere, but rather curls up and goes back to sleep...

And of course, the always cute Hoggie-in-bubble-bath picture.

What a clever little piggie!! So funny that you caught him red-handed (well...pawed) and got the evidence on film! Go Stewey!

Thanks for the pictures. I have never seen a hedgie do that. I guess I am spoiled by having an older hedgie.

Pringle used to climb over that play pen the same way! He used to run and bang into the red and yellow sections. He would only try to climb over the red one.
