I read so much and I am always looking for different authors to read because as soon as I find one I like it is no time at all until I have read everything they have written. Some of my favorites are. Judith Tarr-Historical Fantasy, Pauline Gedge-Historical fiction, Tom Robbins-General Fiction, Gabriel Garcia Marquez-Latin Fiction, Margaret George-Historical Fiction and Jane Yolen-Science Fiction

A few of my favorite authors are: Lucy Maud Montgomery, Jude Deveraux, and Beverly Cleary (when I was younger :p ) I haven't had much time to read lately. I think I am going to make it a point to start reading more. We should all agree on a book and start reading it and then discussing it. That way we can motivate each other to take time out and read!! What do you guys think? Dumn idea? or not?

You should try Frank Herbert if you've never read him before. All the Dune books are really good but the first one is really super. Also Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams) I think is a staple of modern reading. I'm a big sci-fi enthusiast, so I have to say Ray Bradbury rulz! (cheesy enough?)

ISABELE ALLENDE!!
Her books " The House of The SPirits", and, "The Stories of Eva Luna" are must-reads.
They're written in her uniquely witty way, and they just pull you into another world.
