Ok I'm sorry I just have to post this. I find this kinda sad that there is only 1 or 2 people say were sorry for your lost chin the day they made the post. And then a week later everyone is asking what happened oh I'm so sorry. I'm not saying you have to post on every death that happens I'm just saying maybe pay attetion a litttle bit more and send your condolences a couple days after the chin died not a couple weeks. Please dont attack me for saying this. I'm not trying to attack anyone either so please don't make it sound like I am.

Maybe close the thread after a week if you don't want late ones?
I only check certain areas frequently, and some I haven't been to in months - but if I happen to get bored and surf in I'll say something. Most people are like this. I don't do condolences myself.
Please dont attack me for saying this. I'm not trying to attack anyone either so please don't make it sound like I am.
Don't post in the debate section if you don't want a debate. Perhaps a better way to word it would have been "Why do people post weeks after a death? Does it bother anyone else?" or something similar.

"its the thought that counts"
i with spoof that i only look in certain places of the forums, and that most people (i think) go into the memorials once in a while. afterall, it is rather depressing to hear about a baby that died, and by the looks of it, most dont die of old age.

I can't bring myself to go into the memorials, it is too sad. I am sorry for your loss.

A. I don't EVER read the memorials. It pisses me off to see the outpouring of sympathy to someone who caused the death of their animal through their own neglect/stupidity. Not that they are all from that, but I'd rather not read them when they are. People who kill their animals don't deserve sympathy.
B. Check the member information of that late poster. I bet they are either new or haven't visited in a while or just discovered the "new posts" function and aren't paying attention to the post dates. You'll see newbies post "I'm interested" in old classified for that very reason.

What I'm saying is dont attack me and start yelling at me like some people have been doing around here latley.

I find the section too depressing. I don't go there at all unless I see something in there that jumps out at me(i.e. a friend's chin passing away or such).
And I agree with Hedgemom on the first one, It pisses me off to see the outpouring of sympathy to someone who caused the death of their animal through their own neglect/stupidity.
Exactly how I feel too, so I just don't go there unless I see something like a friend's chin that passed away.

I checked your history and no one has yelled at you. Not even when you told someone to restrict their chinchilla to 2 teaspoons of food a day (not good advice).
So exactly WHAT are you complaining about?

I don't think that she is saying that any one has attacked her before, just saying that she doesn't want it to start happening now. Alot of people have been attacked lately when thay are just looking for help. Thats why people come here, looking for help. I agree that that people need to stop jumpimg all over others and I agree that sometimes people do really stupid things, but take it from me sometimes mistakes happen. My ac broke about a week ago and lost two chins. I thought that because they were in the basement they would be fine, well they weren't. I learned my lesson the hard way.
People learn their lesson the hard way too. they don't need everyone yelling at them. I think that most of the time the are sharing their story just so it doesn't happen to any one else.

Wow...harsh. So...you're saying that if my really old chin died from cancer it'd be my fault? Can we then say if ANYthing dies it's that owner's fault?
