Hey,
I would like to make my mum a nice breakfast/lunch/dinner once in a while. Now these recipes HAVE to be easy!! The only cooking I've done is half a year of food technology classes at school last year and i occasionally make a potato bake for myself. Anything that's not too messy and not too hard would be fine.. yeah i know, thats what everyone is looking for lol
If you have any SIMPLE, QUICK (i mean recipes that take no longer than an hour to actually prepare, not including the baking/cooking time) recipes please post them here. It doesn't matter what it is.. muesli, cake, dinner, spaghetti, breakfast etc. ANYTHING!!!!
Thanks.

How bout a homemade fish stew? Throw everything inside a pot and cook for about half hour and it'll be ready.
Low fat fish stew
1 can of tuna in water
1 or 2 potatos, peeled and cubed
1 carrot, cut into chunks
half cup of green peas
1 small cup ofl pasta or uncooked rice
2 cups of chicken stock
pepper and salt to taste
a pinch of thyme and dill
a teaspoon of lemon juice
1. Boil the potatos and carrots in chicken stock, once tender, add the pasta or rice.
2. Add the green peas and tuna once the rice or pasta is almost cooked.
3. Simmer till all the vege and pasta or rice has cooked. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper and the thyme and dill. Cover and simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes and it is ready.
You can add other stuff to the stew. I sometimes add bits of sausage and an egg to make the stew thicker. It's great on a cold morning and best of all, it is low fat. There is no oil added. You can add a teaspoon of cooking oil or butter if you like the extra fat and flavour.

Pasta dishes are really easy to make. You can choose any kind of pasta you like ( I think angel hair is the hardest because it sticks together easily ) and add any toppings you like. Have you ever made pasta before ? It`s super easy. Just throw it into a pot of boiling water and let it cook for about 10 minutes. You can buy alfredo, pesto, marinara, and many other sauces at the store. My mom used to make yummy alfredo bow-tie pasta with peas and chuncks of ham. I personally like pesto pasta. =] My grandma makes a DELCI0US pasta salad. She uses bow tie pasta, a little oil and butter, ham, peas, pecans, shredded parmesan cheese, and pepper. It`s soooo good. Sorry I don`t have specific measurments. I just add ingredients until it tastes good. XD

Ah, I have tried making alfredo pasta with peas and ham... I added bacon too and chinese parsley, oh, it's really nice. Yummy!
