We are down to just a few First Aid Kits left and we'd really, really, like to make more!! They have turned out to be a lifesaver for hedgie caretakers (I've used mine a bunch) and a great addition to Ruby's store. We've had requests for the kits at the Mile High Show so we'd like to make some more but we're almost out of the contents!! We would love to make at least 20 if not more to re-furbish our supply so this is a call for items to add to the kits.
Below is a list of all of the items in the kit. If you think you can donate one or more of these items and would like further information please e-mail me at: jandshyne@msn.com (http://<font%20color=/) (if you're on a Yahoo list just click on the e-mail link and it will bring up a new mail to me) to let me know to expect them. We can't thank everyone enough for your generous donations to these kits the first time around and we certainly can't thank everyone enough for the great response to the kits when we did get them in the store!!!
Included in the last kits:
Curved tip feeding syringes
1cc syringes
3cc syringes
Bag of Q-tips
Bottle of Rescue Remedy
Bottle of Purell (small travel sized bottles)
Purell hand wipes (travel sized packets)
Fleece blankets (for lap sitting, comforting, etc...)
Bottle or Packets of sterile eye wash
Packets of Bacitracin Zinc Ointment
Packets of Povidone Iodine Swabs
Heat packs
Ear balm
Styptic powder
Shea-butter
Packet alcohol free wipes with aloe (travel sized)
Packet of Liquilyte powder
Packet of Aveeno oatmeal bath
Playballs
Packets of Isopropyl alcohol swabs
Gauze
Oatmeal bath Sachets
Small Bottle of Rescue Remedy (http://www.bachessences.com) (http://www.bachessences.com)/)
If you haven't yet seen the kits and would like to read more about them you can do so by going to the Hedgehog Welfare Home Page (http://www.hedgehogwelfare.org) (http://www.hedgehogwelfare.org)/) and then clicking on Ruby's Rescue Shop.
Thank you all in advance!!! As soon as we have enough contents to start making kits again we'll post their availability so keep watching
