There are so many mixed reviews on the topic of bedding... Some some say Carefresh, some say Pine and some say Aspen (along with about 15 other brands that I couldn't even list) I know I will have to wait and see what works for me and my new chin. In the meantime I had to buy some bedding, and I purchased
"Premier Pet `Scent Free` Aspen Bedding" It says "Naturally Scent Free and Absorbent"

What do you think? Comments? Opinions?

Thanks in advance

I have used Apsen bedding before. As far as I know, it's not bad for your chin but I prefer Carefresh or yesterdays news. I used yesterdays news for a while but it very expensive. Carefresh, I think, reduces smells. I hate the small of wet pine/aspen bedding. As far a I know these are all fine for your chin, they worked for me, but i'm not 100% sure so check. Also and I'm sure you know this already, but Never use Aspen bedding.

I've personally never heard of this brand, so I couldn't give you any feedback.

I use something similar to Carefresh called "Pet's Preference." I can give you a link to it.

I've never heard of that brand either, but I agree with Chinlover - Carefresh is what I use and highly recommend :) It keeps smells down extremely well and doesn't escape the cage as much as shavings do.

I think with the Premier Pet brand, before you use it you should just make sure it's kiln dried. Other than that, it seems like every other brand of Aspen :)

I have used the premier pet brand aspen-Its kind of course and not as absorbant as kiln dried pine shavings but it is ok for your chin.
