I know that Hemi sucks on her toes, and tonight I caught Bianca doing it. I had her in the playpen cause she enjoys a few moments away from the hoglets. I was taking some pics of them and looked over to her sucking on her back foot. I hope you enjoy the pics!!

That is so funny. Excuse my ignorance, but why would a Hedgehog do this. I have never heard of it before.

She's cleaning her toes off. Some hedgehogs like to stay clean and some are slobs. I think with her litter she's trying to keep her belly and toes clean.

OMG...awwww. She's just adorable. Those are far better quality pictures than the one I got of Ms. Hemi sucking her feet.

And hedgewood...they do it for cleanliness reasons. My personal belief is so they can avoid the bath for as long as possible. LOL.
