The other day upon bathing Hedgwood, I noticed that she had this big orangish stain on the inside of her left back leg, so there I am trying to scrub it off (Hedgewood not looking to impressed at this moment) only to realize that it was not a stain, but more a bruise.
I figure this must either be where they took blook or gave injections. Is it normal for them to bruise from this??

I remember my dogs bruised when they were hooked up to an IV. I don't think it turned orange though. It was more a dull blue/purple. I'd watch it over the next couple days. If it doesn't improve or if it gets worse, you should probably make a visit to the vet.

There is a decent sized vein in the back leg that your vet may have drawn blood from. Keep an eye on it. Some animals bruise easily while others don't.

If it doesn't go away you may need to have the vet look at it. Fatty liver disease manifests by way of a yellowish tint to the skin and then yellow fat pockets form.

You might also want to look at her diet - I managed to turn Miss Pepper a lovely shade of golden orange by letting her eat all the sweet potatoes that she wanted. When I removed them from her diet she returned to a normal color, and now they're back on the menu, but not as often (much to her dismay).
But I'd be inclined to think about possible FLD. Keep an eye on the area.

Er.
Sorry, I'd forgotten that Hedgewood was going to be having the surgery and such and so has been in and out of the vet's office.
My guess now is that it is a discoloration as a result of the blood draw or (possibly) from the iron injections. Also, because her chemistry is currently off-kilter, some pigmentation changes might be a sign of those changes.
I would ask the vet, though, because when I've seen bruising in hedgehogs it has always been, well, "normal" looking - blue/green/yellow, not orange.
