Just wondering how little Frodo is doing? Has her jaw healed up? I hope she is back to tubing full time once again!

I'm sorry, it's been really hetic around here lately.
Frodo is doing very well now. She has put on about 25 gms and is eating some hard food along with the soft. The scab is completely gone now but the area is still a little raw. Healthy, pink skin is showing though so that's a good sign. She is very active and back to tubing and wheeling with gusto. She got a new wheel as a get well present and seems to love it. She seems to love it very much. All over it. :)
She has to "shovel" her food now and makes a big mess. It's still heartbreaking to see her eat but she has adjusted. She is drinking more water now for some reason but her food intake has returned to normal. Doc. says not to worry about the fluid intake rising. Urine and poops are back to normal. I had to switch her over to liners because the Aspen shavings were getting stuck in her mouth and so just switched them all over. I'm so glad that I did. We are having much better experience with the liners. I wish I had followed Nancy's advice and done this earlier. Since the surgery, Frodo has had much more freedom time and a lot of that has been spent being held and fussed over. She has become quite spoiled by this and now will just stand in one corner of her cage upon waking waiting to be let out.
About the liners, Marco has always been a hider, but since the switch to liners, he now awakes earlier and is more active. He has been much more active during freedom time where as before he didn't explore at all and just wanted to be held by Dar. He just seems happier. Odo loves the liners. I use vellux under fleece and she will pull the fleece over her and sleep.
Frodo says thank you for all of the prayers from everyone here and all of the good wishes. I tell her every day that everybody is thinking of her and expecting her to continue to heal. She says that she is doing her best! lol
It's a firm belief of mine that the prayers and thoughts had a lot to do with her quick and strong recovery.
Thank you everyone!

Thanks for the report Billy. It sounds like she is doing and adjusting quite well.

Aren't liners wonderful? The biggest pro for me was no shavings on my floor to sweep up.

Awesome! I'm glad to hear she's doing so well...and that she loves her wheel alot. LOL.

Give her a big kiss for Hemi and I...actually, Hemi just corrected me. She wants you to give Frodo a big lick and some cottage cheese from her. (Cottage cheese is Hemi's new favorite treat, and thinks every hedgie should know about it).
