Hi guys, I bought two chinchillas from Jim Rodenbush a few months ago. They were twin girls, about four months old, and for a while, you couldn't tell the difference. I renamed them Psyche and Furie, because Psyche is the goddess of conscience and good things, and Furie is the goddess of vengeance. They acquired the names through their personalities...Psyche was a great snuggler, and had the best personlity, while Furie was a little ball of anger for a long time, but gradually progressed to just a little growling and barking when I got her out for play time. I already had two chins and a dog, and realized that I didn't have enough time for all. So I gave the girls to another friend whom I knew would be a great mother. At 11:00 tonight, my friend called me in tears; when she came home from work, she found Psyche lying on the bottom of the cage, and Furie was crying over her. So I decided to make a memorial for her.
