BBcodes?

Hello All,

I have tried looking through and searching through the forum with no luck. :dunno: Could anyone tell me what is are bbcodes?

Also, could you tell me how to post a link without having the url showing? (Ex: If I post a link and want make my own heading for the link)

I can tell you how to post a link without having the URL showing... :)

If you're starting a thread and you want to post a link but you don't want the URL to show, then you'll click the "New Thread" button on the top left hand side of the screen, type your message in the box and then highlight the words that you want the link to be. Click on the little button at the top of the message box that looks like Earth with a chain link at the bottom of it. It will prompt you for the site that you want to link. Type in the web address and click okay. You should now see a link in your message. :)

If you're responding to a thread already posted, the process is the same as the above but to get to the message box that you need to use in order to make a link appear in your post, you must click on the "Go Advanced" button at the bottom of the thread. Then continue with the directions as I stated before.

Now I feel stupid :banghead:, I had a feeling that these codes were similar to HTML codes. Thank you both so much for your help! :)
