How Many Teens Or How Often Do U Get Suckered Into Peer Pressures?

On a rare occasion I'll give in to peer pressure, but 99.999% of the time it isn't anything I would consider morally wrong or dangerous. I'm not one to want to do things for the sake of fitting in or looking good to other kids, and I'm not afraid to piss people off:p

I'm not exactly a teen anymore, but I'm pretty close (18 isn't that far away from being a teenager). I never really gave into peer pressure at all. I've never smoked, drank, or done drugs - even though all my friends were doing it, and wanted me to join.

"Come on, Court...it's only ONE drink.."

"It's only weed, it won't hurt you."

"Here, have a smoke...comeon. What is one puff going to do to you?"

yep, those are the lines they use all right. I haven't had anyone try to get me to do that because all of my friends are pretty good. The problem with those lines is they don't mention how if you just do " this one little puff" or "one little drink", you could very well be addicted for life...Its just dumb...

People can pressure you to do some preaty sick things... But yeah, not a lot. Just one time but I didn't do anything bad. XD; I voted not usually. ^^

I'm home-ed as well, but I think anyone who has friends is going to have some kind of peer pressure now and then ;) I just don't do anything that I don't want to do, it's just not worth it.

Yeah, peer preasure has taken over control of me sometimes, but never anything really bad.... mostly the way i used to dress...... ewe... Now im myself... an original... well... every now and then ill dress like THEM.... lol, whoever they are?

In middle school, I hung out with the "mean girls" of my school. Until 8th grade, I got suckered into a lot of things with them. They were dumb things, like you could only like certain boys, you could only wear skater shoes, you had to wear skirts on Wednesdays, etc. When I got into 8th grade, I realized how stupid it all was and got rid of those brats and their controlling personalities. :-D

I normally don't get suckered into things. If I don't want to do something, I won't.

My problem comes in the place if I "sorta' want to do something, and also DONT want to do something- THEN I can give in and just do it.

If it's something I am against, then I won't get suckered into doing it :)
