I realize this may be a silly, silly question but I just brought my hedgie home at 9 this evening (it is now 3am) and she is currently sleeping on her side. At the breeders place she slept on her tummy like in a ball sort of...is sleeping on her side abnormal? Or is she just tuckered out from the move?
She has also not pottied at all since being home.
It sounds very weird but can I see a photo of "normal poop" compared to "diareah" (yeah I can't spell worth crap)?
When she was at the breeder's home I did see her potty twice...I wasn't exactly sure how it was suppose to look and now I'm wondering if maybe she is sick (and plus it's always good to know ahead of time).
Thanks for feedback!

Sleeping on her side is totally normal. They have different sleeping positions just like we do.

Normal poop is dark brown and about the consistency of toothpaste. Adult poop is about the diameter of toothpaste but baby is smaller.

If she is having diarhea (can't spell it either  ) it will not be formed at all or very mushy formed with liquid.

It is very normal for a new baby to have tummy upsets from a move. It can become softer than normal and green.

She should have had normal poops while still at the breeders as she wouldn'thave been stressed yet. Maybe give the breeder a call and discuss it with her/him. :)

Im pretty sure there is actually a website that has a picture of a very impressive sized hedgie poop- but I cant for the life of me remember where or what that site is. Prehaps someone on here will remember.
