Goodbye, Count D

My beautiful Count D (Count Dookie) passed away this morning. He was an apricot rex rat. He was a beautiful, very large boy, and his condition happened very quickly. We had a vet appointment for this morning, but he never made it there. D-kins, have fun up there. Play nice with Luna, Skye, and your best bud Rex. I'll see you all again someday.

Thanks so much. From what we were able to find out, he had a stroke. The stroke shut down his liver. He started getting sick yesterday, and by this morning he was gone. His best friend and cagemate Intubus doesnt know what to do without his squish-buddy.

Thanks so much. I'm sad to report that his cagemate, Intubus, died as well. As he was perfectly healthy, and a young rattie, the vet could only determine that he did it to himself. He was so unhappy without D that he mourned himself to death. I couldnt give him another cagemate, as I am alergic to rats, and I couldnt put him with the females for obvious reasons. I miss them both terribly. In the picture, Intubus is the black one with the white feet. Count D is the apricot, and the violet hooded in the center was their best friend, Rex, who died a few months ago. We miss them all horribly.
