Just out of curiosty, i was wondering!
well, Poke doesn't unless she was just giving a bath or she can't find her litter tray, then she goes for it (full blow too)....so I voted no....

Within 10 - 20 minutes of holding her either on the bed, floor, my lap, etc., Rouge will do a good number one and number two. Actually, I can't think of one time I've had her out where she DIDN'T go to the bathroom.

Oh, well you still love them of course... I don't think hedgies are unlovable... :)

Spoodle never does if I give her enough time to wake up in her cage. I mean she has to go when she wakes up so I give her time and after she's gone and eaten some (15-30 minutes) I take her out for playtime. Folowing those rules she's never had an accident.
If I take her out durring the day without giving her time to wake up she'll go on me or the floor.
So i guess my answer is sometimes?

Its not unusual for babies to go to the bathroom- ANYTIME and ANYWHERE! You, the bed, the new livingroom carpet- its all fair game.
All of my hedgies will go to the bathroom if they are left out to run around during their free time. Bosco I can trust to not to go the bathroom on my bed- and he spends a couple hours a night just snoozing under the blankies. The other two dont get the same privilages for obvious reasons.

I'm with Laura- anywhere in my home or on my person is fair game. I let them run around a few minutes in their cages in hopes they will go potty there, but they usually hold it until I take them out  I put a litter pan in the playpen and only a few will use it. I'm their favorite potty :)

I became Herbs personal potty last night. And Bosco's only a short time ago. Its funny how they will just do things like that out of the blue sometimes- it had NEVER been an issue for either before, and hasnt since!

I don't know if I should vote yes or no....Herbie never has pooed or peed on us. He has begun to pee in one spot on the floor by his cage when we tell him to "go home". I don't know if he is marking his territory or what :dunno: He does however pee on the floor (towel...they are not put on the floor without something under them) when he is near Kahlua or smells her. Kahlua on the other hand will poo and pee whenever and wherever her little heart desires (napkins on hand at all times). I also find that Kahlua is calmer when Herbie is by her, otherwise she is running and very nervous. Herbie loves to cuddle by her and will call out to Kahlua. It's so cute to hear his little EEEPs :hearts: Herbie has no clue on what to even do if given the chance (and he won't....we watch them the whole time they are out together and aren't interested in breeding them). So they are little cuddle buddies :hearts:
I did vote yes....just because both have peed on the floor and kahlua does all the time!
