My cute little Chips passed away in the night, after having a fight with Mr. Magoo my mosaic male. They had been cage mates for the last six months, but Chips was a mini male and didn't have a chance when Magoo decided to turn on him.
I love Chips with all my heart and always will.....rest in peace chippie chi chi.
My daughter, age 6, and I will be burying him today. She made a little coffin out of her tap shoes box, decorated it with hearts, placed candies in there for him to eat...and lined it with toilet paper...I let her do whatever she wanted with his "coffin".
Say a prayer for him, our hearts are broken.

i am soo sorry for your loss.

have not had any major fights here but i know it is only a matter or time. scares the living day light out of me...


i think it is great what you let your daughter do. we do that when the kids loose their rodents and i think it helps.

I am also very sorry for your loss. Remember the GOOD life that you gave him, the FUN times he had with you.
Give your daughter a hug from him, and for him, and ask her to do the same for you.

im very sorry about chips. i was following your other thread too. he was a very handsome little boy.

I'm REALLY sorry about Chips. :( I thought he would pull through. I lost a few chins last year and it just tore me up! It is SO hard to lose those guys.

I hope you feel better soon.
