new family

last night I recieved an email from the yahoo rescue group of a breeding pair of hedgehogs that needed a home in Illinois. I contacted the lady and she said she's moving and can't take them with her so that's why the are for sale. The father is a Dark Eyed White (although he has at most 10-15 banded quills) and the mom appears to be some sort of cinnicot. Well later on that night I get an email that there are also 3 hoglets so I agree to take them in as well. I don't know if I'll be keeping the hoglets or not. I haven't thought of any names for them yet but I wanted to post some pics of them. The first one is the father, the second one is the mother and the next two are male hoglets and the last one is a female hoglet.

Wow..they are very adorable:) congrats on all of them :D the father is especially cute, and I just love the little albino boy:) those faces are too cute(must be those eyes, and the little piggy nose:laugh:)

Oh I forgot to add if anyone has any good name ideas let me know cause I'm stumped right now...:)

How about naming them after a TV family? I can't think of any with 2 boys and a girl though...

This morning I was looking over the mom and the daughter ( I have them housed together for the time being and might let them be cage mates if all works out well) and they both have a small pinto spot on their right lower hips. I was like awww that is adorable :hearts:

I've decided I'm keeping the female hoglet but going to sell the two males. The names of the Darked Eyed White is going to be Dakota, The Mother is going to be named Ginger, and the female hoglet will be named Vixen...so there you have it all named and good to go :)
