shipping?

I have a few hedgehogs that I need to ship from Illinois to New Hampshire but I don't know what I have to do. If anyone could give me a quick run through of the requirements and/or recommendations for shipping that would be great!! Thanks for your help :)

Best bet would probably be to contact the air line that you plan on shipping them via. I know that some places require a health certificate in order for animals to fly, sometimes there are also special size requirements for the "kennels" that the animal will be in.

I think most people use contiental so I'll try to talk with them and see what they have to say, thanks prettyhate

Each airline is different, most require a health certificate before they can be shipped, acclimated to a certain temperature, and not all airports or airlines will ship live cargo. The airport closest to me will not ship animals at all, so I have to drive all the way to Detroit to ship. With gas prices the way they are, I just won't ship anymore. Not worth my time when I can sell to people in my own state and know that I am here if an emergency were to ever come up for any one of the hedgehogs I have sold.
