Hedgehog shows near Okla/Texas?

Have been hearing about the hedgehog show in Washington and was just wondering if there are ever any shows in Oklahoma/Texas area?

The Mile High Hedgehog show is in Colorado Springs...that's kind of close. :)

Colorado is still too far....but thanks!!! Gas too expensive now in addition to a room!

Why not put up a notice to see if someone would carpool and share a room? I met some fantastic chin people that way. I don't think there are very many hedgie shows to choose from, so your options are going to be limited.

Thanks for the suggestion, tunes. I'm in college now so it's too hard to get away for more than a day or so... General Genetics class is killing me!!!! Maybe next year when I'm finished I can plan ahead!!!

There are very few shows out there... None in the area you're looking for. I agree with Peggy. The Mile High show is a lot of fun and it's over a weekend. I know there have been a few people looking for roommates and it's a bi-annual show so if you can't make it this time maybe next time!!

There is usually a spring show in Iola, KS. Iola is fairly close to the Oklahoma border.

Tig (from Iola) won't be doing any more formal shows, so the spring show is no more. We do occasionally have informal get togethers in the southwestern Missouri/southeastern KS area, you can watch hedgehogworld.com for news about them. :)
