I was just curious I have heard that when you run a set of puppies through a dog they are calmer....I was wondering if this was the same for hedgies or is each case different?

By running a set of puppies do you mean letting a female dog whelp a litter? If that's the case, I would say say no! That's just like saying, your female dog needs to have a litter of puppies before she is spayed. Complete myth. Altered animals (cats, dogs, rabbits, etc.) tend to be calmer because they aren't being driven by their hormones. I suppose you could apply that to hedgehogs, but it probably wouldn't be accurate. I have 3 hedgehogs that are spayed. They are the nicest of my 5 girls. The other 2 who are not spayed have their moments. I know people who have unaltered females and they are very "calm".You also need to take in socialization and age of the hedgehog

No- it isn't true, not with dogs or hedgehogs.
