soars under eyes?

I noticed that my hedgehog has soars under her eyes. They just look like red patches. She also has been scratching latley but when I checked for mite, I didn't see any. Any answers?

The only true way to rule out mites is to take her to the vet for a skin scrapping. If she is scratching alot especially around her face, it sounds like mites to me and she will need to see the vet anyway to be treated. :)
