Cataracts....

Noah has one cataract in his left eye and is getting one in his right eye.
How will these cataracts effect him?

It normally depends on the type of cataracts. My dog (Louis) has cataracts in both eyes, but they are undeveloped and juvenile so they don't constrict much of his vision. Hedgehogs, being nocturnal, may suffer though. I'm not totally sure. He may just have a bit of trouble seeing in the dark, but he may go blind entirely. The only thing I can suggest is not changing around the furniture in his cage to a different location, so he can learn to navigate around them.
