Colored/Glitter Acrylic Nails!

Hey ladies,
I was just wondering if any of you are as addicted to getting your nails done as I am. For the last few months I have been loving the acrylic that is colored and has glitter in it. It doesn't chip like nail polish and it looks awesome. It was hard for me to find a place that does this b/c I hate the "chop shops" and the tech needs to have a steady hand or it is a mess everywhere. It isn't the cheapest expense in the world either. Anyway I got my nails done again for new year. L8ly I've been spicing things up using two tones! I received many compliments on them and thought I'd show everyone...

Does anyone else get their nails done up?

my little sister does em' like that. she gets designs, and glitters, and different colors, and lines, and swirls and things like that! personally, i think that would be too much for me, though when i went to get my nails done on friday, i DID see a cool design i liked with little "diamonds" on it. i didnt get it done, because they wanted an EXTRA 13.00 for the design! holy goodness! i'll stick with my french manicures and my regular old nail polish.

I work in a Pet Store and pretty much constantly have my hands in something gross. While Ive thought about getting my nails done (more of a manicure than anything...I keep my nails relatively long to begin with- I dont need fake ones), it just doesnt seem like a practical thing to have done.

Nice nails though :) I like the pink/black combo. And you can never go wrong with a lil'glitter!

I work for a marketing company and go to different stores to preform demos on different products that I work with. I need to keep my hands looking good. :)

I used to get mine done all the time, You know regular maintc. every two weeks. Around heres its 25 for a set, with a tip. Then 15 for a fill with a tip. I've never done anything but the classic pink with white tips. Though they have the new Silk Acrylic that is thinner, more realistic. I loved my nails. Looking at starting again when Jacob is alittle bigger.

Believe it or not. I used to work on a Ranch and have my nails done all the time. I did however curse at my fair share of horses for breaking a nail or two.

I had my nails done once, but when they came off, my nails were thin as paper, it was terrible trying to get them to grow :(
