I know the thread "Anyone trying to get pregnant" is getting a bit long so I'm starting a new :storkboy: Trying to Concieve (TTC) thread. :storkgirl: The countdown is beginning as I am going to TTC next March-May. I have a fertility calendar with fertilityfriend.com and it helps a lot! Anyone have advice to share?

Oh! Oh! Oh! I love fertility friend!!! There are lots of fertility books out there, but I would recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It follows along with FF really well. Easy to read and easy to understand.

I'm doing good. I'll be happier once I've hit the 2nd trimester. 1st trimester sucks. I'm due July 30th.

I am due in about a week and a half. It was "supposed" to be difficult for me to get pregnant. We had it all planned out. Buy a house, "have fun" for a year and then work on ferility calendars, temps and other stuff. Well, I did a preconception appointment with my OB/GYN and they told me some really good advice.
1. Relax have fun. Don't go out and buy all those crappy thermomiters and ovulation kits until you've been trying for at least a year. Relax, have fun, play around. This is was ultimately worked. We went away for our 1st aniversary to Vegas and had a lot of fun.......and Vegas lied. What happen in Vegas DOES NOT stay in Vegas. (When is this thing coming out of me?!)
2. Count the days in your cycle. Then count back 15 days. Ovulation does happen 15 days into your cycle, it happend 15 days earlier from your 1st day of your period. So if you have a 30 day cycle, your days of ovulation will be different if you ovulate every 25. Use the last month as a guide for the upcoming month.
3. Don't go every day. This was great advise. Believe it or not, it gets really boring day after day after day... Sperm lives 48-72 hours, so every other day is much easier.
Well, after our great planning and everything, we got pregnant 2 months after buying our house. Who ever told me I was infertile come see me, RIGHT NOW. Ok, so I am very tired of being pregnant.
Good Luck!

What's going on Chewy? Are you doing ok with your charting?
BTW, I think the name Natalie is pretty high on our list if we have a girl. :)

Aww thanks!!!! :hearts: That's so flattering! What would be the middle name? Mine's Michelle.
My charting is going well but I hate my thermometer. It takes forever and I don't like lying there in the morning right when I wake up. I have been severely depressed lately tho b/c I want to have a baby soooooo bad and it seems like everyone around me is having one right now but I can't b/c I'm not done with school. Next year I should be trying but I just can't wait until then!!!
How are things going with you my dear? :)
