Soooooo Who here likes this song???
Me and Dan spent like 2 days argueing that evryone likes this song. He says no one but me likes it and I only like it now ot be different. it was fine when it came out but now I just want to be nothing like everyone else. While that is true I've liked it since it came out and still do. There are lots of songe I feel that way about while many others I outgrew.
I think a lot more people like it that aren't my age. Me and my friends do but everyone else likes rap/hip hop/pop and the people who do like rock and punk and all the other stuff don't really care too much for The Offspring.
Just wondering what you guys have to say( adn isn't it funny how this is the best thing we have to fight about???)

I picked used to like it, but haven't heard it in forever. My brother had that CD when we were little and I used to love it! We listened to it all the time. But then he got into rap/hip hop and haven't heard it since. Don't even know what happened to his CD. I did really like it back then. Too bad he followed the crowd.
p.s. yes, it is funny that that is the best thing you have to fight about.

I like The Offspring. My main problem with them is that all their stuff sounds very very much alike. I can rarely listen to one of their CDs strait through because it all sounds so similar. None the less, they are a great band.

It doesn't bug me that it all sonds the same. Actually, its different to me....different words different nifty beginnings. LOL
I really liekd it when it came out( I was, like, 6,7? And it always bugged me when they said 5 twice-still does LOL.) then I kinda forgot about it.....and got back into it and Dan got me the greatest hits cd for Sweetest Day....now I need the other ones....Same with Blink-182 but that was a x-mas gift...LOL I'm a loser. :P

I haven't heard that song FOREVER! I think I was in high school...ah the memories of the yearbook room.
Sweetest Day is like Valentine's Day in September. I think it's pretty much only celebrated in the Great Lakes states. When I lived in Ohio, it was a big deal. Here in Utah, practically no one has ever heard of it.

I like Offspring and still listen to their music. 'Hit that' for example is one I really like. I never did like 'pretty fly' personally. I liked 'self esteem' though. There's another shorter song on that album I like too, but the name does not come back to me right now.
Ryan does the whole pretty fly for a white guy dance though.
When I first met him back in 2000, that was exactly what he did on the dance floor in the club.
It was so stupid imo, but he thought it would impress me. I made sure I stood back about 10 ft from him so no one knew I was with him there.

So then do you celebrate both Sweetest Day AND Valentines Day? I might be able to get into that if it means more chocolate ;)

That song is terrible, that whole music genre is very untalented, immature :-)
