Can't wait to get my hedgehog

Hey everyone!
i'm new here, and i don't even heve my hedgehog yet. :S .. but i just can't wait to get her :love2: ! she was born on the 14th of january so she's still to young... but the breeder is so kind to keep me updated with everything going on with my little baby with frequent pictures and everything! i'll probally go get her at the end of april but if i can manage a way i'll go get her in the begining of march! any good tips on getting a new hedgehog :confused: ?? i've read alot about them and i know most of the basic cares but is there any little trick to make their lives easyer adapting to a new house??

Something that has helped my little girl was sleeping with one her blankets and then putting it in there with her. It gets them used to your scent. Welcome and Congrats on your new hedgie!!! Be sure and keep us updated on her!

don't let her intimidate you! wolfgang was real huffy with us for the first couple days, but we just make sure to go ahead and hold him every day for at least an hour and he gets more and more comfortable with us each time. if he starts huffing we're guaranteed to pick him up so he won't think he's got an easy out of us bugging him.

i do the blanket thing with him as well; after i do his laundry i'll sleep with one of his blankies and then put it in his sleeping tube. the added benefit is my bed smells like his bed, so he's far less inclined to poop on my comforter :applause:

yes ... well i'm i speak french so i'll name her ''croquette''(it means nugget in french) :hyper: i tried tu upload my newst pictures but they are too big... when i get a chance i'll put them on my site
