how do you get color stars??

yes i know.. lol..
but i have noticed a few members on here have colored star's, instead of the pukey yellow ones.. and they aren't mod's necessarily.. i want purple stars!!!~~~ wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
any help here??

After you reach a larger amount of posts, I believe it's 4,000, you get to go to a different colored star as well.

In the "News and Questions" section there is a thread called "A Few Helps" up towards the top.
This is where the list below is found, along with other questions most newbees have. :)

Star Colors
Blue: Moderator/Administrator
Blue & yellow: Moderator/Administrator with more than 4000 posts
Yellow: Normal member
Purple: Chinchilla or hedgehog buddy
