Rest in Peace Khadijah

:cry2:Yesterday (2-6-06) My beloved cat Khadijah was put down.
Last week we took her to the vet for her regular shots, well the vet was doing her regular and found a huge mass on her jaw, which was not there just 2 days before. I wanted to give it to the weekend to see if it would "go down" , it did not , it got bigger. This weekend she stopped cleaning herself and also she stopped eating. So yesterday my husband took her to the vet to be put down. My husband, my daughter, my son and myself could not stop crying.

Thank-you very much. She was so loved and cared about. She always slept on my daughters bed. She was only 10 years old. I got her at 8 weeks old for a Christmas present for my kids. We all miss her, but we know we did the right thing for her. We did not want to keep her around to suffer because we would miss her. That would have been selfish so we did what was best for her.
We love you and we miss you Khadijah.

Thank-you all so very much. We have 3 other cats but it is just not the same without her. I do not know if we will ever get over loosing her. She helped me wake my 15 year old daughter up every morning. This morning when I went to get her up Khadijah was not there, I started to cry, just like I am right now. Why did it have to happen so fast? Oh how I miss her. I do know that now she is no longer in pain and she is up in Kitty Heaven, but I miss her so much.

bless your heart.. i know it is so very hard to lose a pet... but you will keep her forever in your heart and memories.. that's sometimes all it takes.. just remember all the wonderful things she did, what she brought to your family, and how much you love her.. i am so sorry you lost her, but you did the right thing.. and she thanks you for it..
