Thread For Every First Time Hedgie Owner!

I wanted to make a thread for all the first time hedgie owners to tell everyone about how their hedgies are doing. You can talk about your hedgehogs first day or what your hedgie likes or doesn't like. Feel free to give updates on your hedgie and tell us all how it is doing and what progress it has made from when you got it. Anything goes for first time hedgie owners.... :winkgrin:

Well, I got my hedgie on Dec. 29, 2005. She was so cute at 12 weeks and 2 days old. :hearts: I brought her home and let her rest and then got her out for everyone to see. She was scared (it being a new home and all) and stayed balled up for a few min. But then she showed opened up and let everyone see her cute face. I decided to name her Snowball since she was so shy and balled up a lot. When the lights went out she came out, ate, drank, and immediately got on her wheel and I don't think she stopped till the sun came up. :hamster: Since then she is more comfortable around me and unballs much quicker. She is still hesitant about running on her wheel in the daytime, but will come out to eat and drink. She still loves her wheel just the same and will run like crazy on it. We are still in the process of bonding, but I feel with each day we get closer to becoming great friends. :D :hedge1:
