This is actually the second time that I've registered here. I'm not sure what happened, but several months ago, I wasn't able to bring up Chins and Quills any longer from my computer. I'm not sure what happened, but THANKFULLY I have made it back. I was originally here as "Willie'sMom" and I actually rescued Momma Cass from Janice in Baltimore, MD.

Now, I'm about to be a new Chinnie Mom to Patches who I am buying from Shannon. Anyway, I wanted to say hello again and this site is FANTASTIC!! It was great before, but WOW....lots of new goodies and new members. :hyper:

Hello, do you have pics of your chinchillas? I actually saw Patches on the other thread - he's so cute! Congratulations! I am getting my first 2 in March (girls) and am very anxious to have them! My son can't wait either! I'll be asking lots of questions!! Anyway, nice to "meet" you :) :)

Thanks so much everyone!! I have certainly missed being here. I am meeting Shannon tomorrow to pick up my new baby so you can bet I'll put up plenty of pictures of them. I may have to ask one of you to help me with the re-sizing of the photos though as I'm not that savvy when it comes to that. I remember someone here had helped me out when Momma Cass had her kit about two months after I resuced her. I tried to upload their pictures, but I wasn't able to.

If any of you can help me do that this time, please let me know and I can e-mail you the pictures or you can walk me through how to do it.

Bella, Actually I am in Richmond, Virginia. Do you remember a lady that was here before named Janice? She worked alongside the Baltimore Humane Society and rescued several chinnies' from them. Apparently, the previous owner had a dog and it attacked and killed several of Momma Cass' kits and bit off one of her brother's toes. His name was Ogden and he is a beautiful black velvet boy.My dad (also a HUGE animal lover) took Ogden in and I took Momma Cass.

I can't wait for you all to see pictures of them and I certainly look forward to "meeting" more of you. Thanks again for the warm welcome!!
