recall on royal canin foods

just wanted to let everyone know there is a recal on a certain royal canin cat food

i have no link my vet is banfield in petsmart and they called me to tell me

What were the reasons for the recall?

I've searched the Internet, including Royal Canin's US, UK and AU websites and find no mention of a recall at all. I've also checked with http://www.usarecalls.com/MORE-RECALLS.html and the only food they list is the Diamond Pet Food recall in December that we all know about.

Additionally I've checked the PetsMart website and they have not posted anything about it there and are continuing to sell Royal Canin cat foods on the site.

look call your local petsmart to find out whats going on or call banfield pet hospital banfield.net for numbers and the problem with the food is there was to much of one ingrediant in a certain one of the foods i dont recall the food cuz it wasnt the one i feed my hedgie i feed him light 37 and that one is ok i think she told me it was something and rice or rice and something is the name of it and hedgemom they dont put everything on the internet and this also just happedned so it might be to soon

that is talking about a canned dog food im talking about a dry cat food

Please find out more details and post. People can't start flipping out about this and throwing away all their cat food, mainly because there is no "certain" food type. If you can substantiate this, I'm sure that more people would accept it and not question you.

omg i thought i would be doing people a favor by warning them look like i said call your local petsmart how hard is that ok? if you feed your hedgie royal canin dry cat food then take two seconds out of your busy schedule to call your local petsmart
